Brian Crump

Brian Crump became involved in Law Enforcement in 1994. After several years as an investigator, Brian Crump decided to get into the private profession of investigations. 

Since 1998, Brian Crump has been involved in some of the Carolina's most notable cases. Assisting in the defense of S.C. vs. George Shinn, N.C. vs. Ray Carruth, U.S. vs. Jody and Jennifer Calloway (The Loomis Fargo Gang) and many others. Some of Brian's cases have aired on some major networks like Court TV and the FBI files. 

As a criminal defense expert, Brian concentrates on Criminal and Civil litigation. The vast majority of his cases have been settled and dismissed before ever going to court. Having a good private investigator to conduct interviews, take pictures, diagrams, computer generated movies, slides, crime scene reconstruction can easily persuade jurors to see more of the "Big Picture" than what the State or Government want them to see. 

Having a good private investigator is a vital part in preparing a good defense. Brian has a very good working relationship with some of Charlotte's prominent defense attorneys.

Your initial consultation is free of charge. We will arrange a meeting to discuss your case and review all objectives in detail.

How will I be informed about the progress of my case? 

You will be informed about every step of your case. We require a written contract or waiver on each case. This will insure we have discussed your case in detail. This will outline the facts to be discovered including cost, projected times, and detailed reports. 

You will always be informed on the progress of your case. 

How am I involved in the case? 

We will make you aware of the investigation as it progresses. Most cases are very detailed and require many hours of research and detailed reporting. We provide detailed reports on every interview or task as it is completed. 

Our investigators will perform all the related research or tasks without needing your intervention. Most cases are sensitive in nature and our investigators are professionals skilled in completing the task without needing your participation. 

Historically, many cases in the past have failed when clients intervene in their own investigation. Many clients violated different laws tainting their own case. Our investigators are skilled professionals, which stay within the legal requirements of current investigative law.

Are the Investigators licensed?

Our investigators are licensed in accordance with General Statue 

74-C and the North Carolina Private Protective Services Board.

How much will it cost to get started? 

On Criminal or Civil litigation cases we bill at a rate of $75.00 per hour and require a retainer fee of $2,500.00 to start your case. On Domestic Surveillance cases, we bill at a rate of $75.00 per hour for the first investigator and $75.00 per hour for the second investigator if needed. You will be billed against your paid retainer at the above rate per hour until the case is completed. If you have a balance on your retainer when we complete your case we will refund the unused portion along with your final reports. 

If you exceed the retainer, another agreeable sum of money will be required to continue your case based on the tasks remaining and the projected time needed for completion.
